All Day Polo Bun @ Damansara Uptown

Let’s have fun with some polo buns! All Day Polo Bun at Damansara Uptown offers Hong Kong-styled polo buns all day long, but take note that their buns are freshly made every hour. We went at 11am and managed to snag some buns – people who came at 11.30am were told they had to wait until 12pm 😱

The entrance to All Day Polo Bun! It's right above Random Food Store and next to Village Park nasi lemak.

Makan Apa?

When at a polo bun store, of course you have to try the polo buns. There’s ice-cream polo buns and savoury ones, plus classic toast and boiled eggs etc.

Salted caramel ice-cream polo bun. (RM15.90)
Polo bun with butter (RM4.50), add on fried egg (RM2.00) and cheese (RM1.20)

We also had an egg tart (RM2.50) and a polo bun with luncheon meat and fried egg (RM7.90). The egg tart was decently sized and the egg was very smooth and custardy. The crust is not the flaky kind!

The Verdict

My polo bun was fresh and the simple ingredients complemented each other in the bun! The salted caramel ice-cream is good and generous (big helping), but they served us the ice-cream polo bun before our savoury buns… So it’s like we had to finish it fast to keep it from melting.

As polo bun = carbs, I think my maximum is 1.5 polo buns. I struggled to finish the ice-cream polo bun after my pescetarian polo bun because so… full… but… good…

It’s a known fact that parking spaces are a rarity in Uptown unless you’re there either super early or super late at night. If you’re driving there and can’t find a parking space and choose to double park, I implore you: PLEASE LEAVE YOUR CONTACT NUMBER ON THE DASHBOARD OF YOUR CAR!

An inconsiderate driver parked behind us and even after we honked for 10 minutes, nobody came to remove the car and there was no number to call. Luckily, the space next to us was empty and we were able to maneuver tightly out the spot and on our way. 😒

♥ Pescetarian-Friendly: 2/5. The basic polo bun comes with butter and you can add on the ingredients, and there’s also toast versions.

♥ Wallet-Friendly: 3/5. The total damage was RM34 for two people, I guess it kind of works out to be alright for a meal.
